"And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers....."

(Ephesians 4:11- NKJ)

New Covenant Fellowship is governed under New Testament principles.

SENIOR PASTOR

The senior pastor of New Covenant Fellowship is called and gifted of God to be a pastor.  He is called by Jesus Christ to pastor this local congregation.  He serves as the spiritual leader of the church and president of the corporation.

He is a servant to the people. He relinquishes headship of the church to Jesus Christ, and he provides leadership under the direction of the Holy Spirit. The board has delegated to the pastor all authority necessary to carry out the daily management of the property of the corporation in accordance with the bylaws.

ASSOCIATE PASTORS

These are called to function in various pastoral capacities under the leadership of the senior pastor.

 ELDERS

A man becomes an elder due to the development of godly character and maturity in harmony with the standards found in the New Testament. Ordained elders at NCF act in an advisory capacity to the pastor in the areas of relational matters.

 BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Board of Trustees is responsible for overseeing all legal and financial matters of the church.

 PASTORAL STAFF COUNCIL

The Pastoral Staff Council is made up of staff pastors and leaders. This group meets often with the senior pastor for the ongoing planning for the congregation and for assisting in administrative oversight of the body at New Covenant.

 LEADERSHIP COUNCIL

The Leadership Council is comprised of people God has placed in primary leadership responsibilities in relational and ministry program areas. Members of this Council will serve as long as they remain in the leadership responsibility that included them in the Leadership Council. The focus consists of two tracks (1) taking care of ministry matters that are current and (2) seeking out the path ahead—what God is showing us concerning these ministries.

ANNUAL MEETING

NCF has an annual business meeting during which voting membership addresses financial matters, the annual budget, and various other church items. Special business meetings of the church may be called during the year as outlined in the bylaws.
